Booking a restaurant table in Padstow….why is it’s important?

The importance of booking a restaurant table in Padstow is not something to be overlooked. We all love to be spontaneous and fancy-free but when you’re stomach is rumbling and your craving that sunset glass of wine, you’ll wish you had a reservation. In busy times there are simply not enough seats in restaurants around the town. Just rocking up expecting a table is optimistic at best. Restaurants like to space reservations (even out of season) so as to give customers good service and allow the kitchen to run smoothly. Just because a restaurant has empty tables is does not mean they are not fully booked!

Fortunately, it’s easy as pie to book a table for Dinner with us at Mussel Box. Simply get in contact with one of our helpful team on 01841 532846 or alternatively you can book online by clicking here. Situated on the bustling harbour-side, overlooking the fishing boats, our outside and inside dining areas fill up fast, so it’s best to book in advance to avoid disappointment, especially during the summer holidays.

Lunch time service runs on a first come, first served basis. Just pop your head through the door and see if we’ve got a table. Tables turn over fast, so it’s always worth a wander around the quay whilst you wait for a table to become free. However we do make an exception for our delicious Sunday Roast lunch, served from 12:00pm until 3:00pm, so make sure you book your space for the most important meal of the week! (available mid September through until the end of May.)

Breakfast is the same as lunch…first come, first served. We do become very busy in season, especially Friday and Saturdays, but again, it’s a very quick turn around so it’s never long to wait for a table.

Don’t miss out on freshly caught seafood, locally reared meats and seasonal veggies! Kick back overlooking the sparkling lights of Padstow reflected on the harbour, before taking your seat in our scenic outside area or cosy restaurant inside.
